If you want to get fit for a couple of weeks and have no choice but to walk on cobbled streets and up hills and lots of stairs around a beautiful city, you would love a holiday at the Edinburgh Festival!

The street acts were great, there were detailed tattooed jugglers, juggling knives on unicycles, to then various groups playing tricks on the gathering crowd's, to small bands playing jazz to single violinists playing Vivaldi on the streets for free or for a donation of your own choice. The hills and cobbled streets are all about walking and good exercise, deep breathing and getting to the next show quickly and I loved it!

The rain didn’t seem to stop anyone getting anywhere and being surrounded by people who enjoy the same things and shows as you, with an intelligent approach to drinking and standing in cues in the rain chatting, was a joy. The tours, the old town and the historical splendour takes you back in time like no other city can. The people, the performers were great and the public were intelligent and interesting apart from the odd heckler in venues, but they were very funny most of the time. I think I enjoyed the people more than anything. The way that everyone was dressed in Edinburgh was interesting. Some people were grungy, some casual or smart and they all acted with finesse and were fascinating to watch. I love ‘people watching’, it's a fabulous way to pass the time of day while drinking a bloody good Italian coffee.

All of the shows I went to were fantastic and soooo professional! Watching young fresh faced people and their Ooh so need to get this right nerves were singing and dancing for us. They are just starting new careers with their whole young lives ahead of them and looking and listening to them was so good for the soul. Comedians telling jokes, complaining about the fact that they were, "loosing more money then they were making coming to Edinburgh", was stated on a regularly basis by some of the Comedians. They were making us all laugh and that's all that mattered we were laughing so much tears ran down our faces. Audiences did feel like saying, "please don't mention what the critics have said about your act again, sod what the critics think and just get on with it we like you and we think you're funny! I did not realise how insecure Comedians can be, but no one like being criticised hey? The tram jokes were constant, you had to be there!

The city smells of rain, beer, cigarettes, (no I do not smoke, just miss the smells sometimes of how pubs use to smell, you know the smells that use to hit you when you first opened the doors of a good old British pub and that seems so long ago now, another era gone for good, but some people would love it so...). The arousing smell of men's aftershave, wet hair, women's perfumes was provocative. However the heat in some of the venues was a bit much at times, all crammed in together on very small seats, lol! I did enjoy all of that really and the camaraderie of the people around me was comforting. There was definitely poor air conditioning in some of the buildings because some of the buildings are all quite old or the doors and windows not left open for long enough to perceive some kind of fresh air. So people were using the leaflets to fan themselves, including me! A slight feeling of the black hole of Calcutta came to mind at one point!

There was food smells everywhere on the streets of Edinburgh, good Scottish food, soup, fish and chips, fried haggis and deep fried mars bars and the smells lingered everywhere! The restaurants are many and great too because Edinburgh has them all, just wonderful.

There were quite a few celebrities (TV folks) knocking about and a very tanned Clive Anderson and a very tall John Lesley. I have not seen him on TV for a while and I wonder why, now let me think? A few more TV folks were walking about, but I couldn't remember their names.

There were lots of beautiful mature and young people everywhere and some of them were constantly giving you leaflets for various acts, venues and you ended up filling your pockets and handbag with leaflets and flayers and of course I said thank you with a smile but it gets a bit much at times! There was no way that anyone could see all of the shows at the Festival, but it would be fun trying!

It’s a shame I miss Anthony Boudain though! Why I am in love with this guy I don't know he's not even my type, but he's got under my skin so I'm going with the dream, okay folks! He's just got married again so that's it, I have to come to terms with it, but its not easy! :*(

I was in tears laughing...

For my birthday, my girlfriend bought me a week of Personal Training at the local health club for me. Although I am still in great shape since playing on my school football team, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer call Beccy, who identified herself as a 26 year old aerobics instructor and model for athletic clothing and swimsuits. My girlfriend seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get started. The club encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my progress.

Monday: Started my day at 6:00am. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was well worth it when I arrived at the health club to find Beccy waiting for me. We go into shock mode if one or two of these things are taken away from us. “Economic disasters loom too, for airlines and others. There are genuinely frightened travellers stuck from Mumbai to Moscow, without much money and with their children”. I read this, this morning. It must be terrible for lots of people who are stranded out there. However, there are always winners in bad situations, especially those people with few responsibilities, plenty of finances, sitting on a beach all day because the airlines are paying their hotel bill, lucky them! Lol.

Happy New Year every one and hope you had a great Christmas?

New Years Resolutions do you have any?

My New Years resolutions are as per usual, they are about striving for happiness like most human beings. It's about living my life with care and considerations for myself as well as for others, and then everything else falls into place we hope. It's also about doing a good job and being professionally in whatever I do. Professionalism is all about taking account of the detail, whilst also being able to take in the bigger picture. It's about consistency and care and unless someone takes a real pride in what you do they will never attain professionalism? I am not sure that this can be taught to anyone. I think that you need to have the correct personality traits in order to take on what is needed. If you have this ability, out there in your life then you know where I am coming from. So lets hope this will continue to add to my happiness, we all love happiness don't we? It's certainly hard to measure as it is different for everyone. So good health, wealth and happiness to you all for 2010.

I had a great time with family and friends and had a nice holiday break, hope you did too! Boy the weather has been interesting for us all and hope not really bad for you in your areas folks. The cold is really bad today where I live and hopefully this will mean a great summer for us all, for a change this year. Life is like the weather it's cyclic so let's hope its a good Spring and Summer in 2010. I cannot remember a good summer in the North for about 4 or 5 years or a time since I was able to sit in the garden and have a barbecue regularly throughout the summer. You start to feel the weather will never improve these last few years, but the planet and weather is a big subject these days and we should always remember it is like life, very cyclic, highs and lows and sometimes I think that everyone forgets this. The planet after all have been around for about 4 to 6 billion years. More holiday breaks are needed for me this year as the sun has been lacking for a while in the North, but I did like the snow at Christmas this year.

Hi everyone, sorry for not doing my blog till late this month and what a month Belle de Jour revealed! I was reading an artical in The Times about her, all very interesting don't you think and it's brought up so much interesting debate especially about my profession and I really enjoyed the debate on Radio 4 about the different levels of the job in society. After listening to the programme and peoples opinions I am starting to like Michael Portillo, very logical and sound mind during the debate about the business and the role of our job in society! Sometimes I think though that some people feel we are still living in Hogarths Gin Lane or in the 19th Century and that sex is the enemy and that having sex is all about love and marriage, right and wrong nothing in between, how wrong they are! Less of politics folks!

Hope you have a great October and here it is. September is full of school holidays children starting University so its a very busy month for lots of people, October is less hectic and the nights are drawing in! I had a great September, but busy with personal life more than anything, although I did have a fabulous end of September ;-)

As you know I am a bit of a food buff, love cooking when I can and great way to relax and enjoy an evening of good food and wine. I sometimes cook for clients, but not very often, but it’s a great skill if you need to and it usually for special clients who like a more intellectual or stimulating kind of date and conversations with me as I am able to converse on a few subjects, I think!

The Trafalgar Square “fourth plinth” projects has been interesting in September and don’t know if any of you have been watching it this year, but I have really enjoyed it. I also love the Style & Culture channel on Sky these days lots of clips of people like Johnny Cash, The Who, Roy Orbison and Elvis good music, not my era, but interesting all the same on Sky Arts. Including information and programs on food, fashion arts and design - everything to help you keep up with the world of style and culture, fab!

I have also read most of Lee Child’s books now about Jack Reacher and I am leaving his last book ‘Gone Tomorrow’ till last so I feel quite sad really as I have enjoyed all Jack's adventures and what a guy!

I have not stayed away either in September after all, but I am considering doing so in October, not sure yet. As you may know ladies like me frequent hotels, but I have not been to many this year. Apparently all is not well in luxury-hotel land the recession is still hurting for a lot of people. Occupancy rates have plummeted and some top-end chains are rumoured to be allowing properties to drop a star so that they can lower rates and attract business so who know when this recession will end!

Hi Folks,

Hope your are all okay, well rested and had a good time this summer!

Well, sad summer on some days, but we had some lovely sunny days too, but not enough really. It's basically sad. We should all stop trying to make the UK something it isn't, it rains a lot of the time, but there is always something to do in the UK. One thing about the UK the TV does get more interesting in winter, that's for sure, but as you know I like my audiobooks, music and a good glass or red wine. Summer reds have been good this year. Marks & Spencer has the terrific, peppery, spiced plum 2008 Vin de Pays Ardèche Gamay, Cave de Saint Désirat and a great, unoaked and plum packed, own-label 2008 Asda Valpolicella.

In terms of the 'Escorting Business' as I have previously stated, summertime is okay, but mainly quite, like most areas of business and pleasure, everyone is going away on holiday. My escort friend now what I mean!

What a month, M.P.'s expenses, Gordon Brown, the Banks, bankers pensions, what a mess folks it never ends the bad news, mind you scandals never end! The weathers been good though, however we all need a holiday from the news in this country at the moment.

I'm sorry I did not get to Scotland last month and don't know when I will really. I promise I will keep you posted. I spent a great night last week at a lovely restaurant in Manchester thanks to a close friend of mine so I could not miss that. ;-) Thank you!

Hey good news for the ladies, I see the high street chain H&M has teamed up with the luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo in its latest designer collaboration, (according to the Times). The fashion retailer has created a collection of shoes and bags with the sought-after brand to appear in 200 shops worldwide on November 14 this year. Some of my friends will be very please!

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about The Langham Hotel, in London ;-) and it has been refurbished, which is nice. Apparently it was originally opened in 1865, it is the epitome of the grand city hotel. The dining facilities include the new restaurant The Landau and the chic and glamorous bar Artesian, both designed by renowned designers at David Collins Studios so hopefully I can visit sometime, the Times is a great paper for interesting facts!

I would love to do a tour of London with a girlfriend. So keep your eyes open for any details guys on a tour to London with one of my lovely girlfriends.

However, the lively capital of the North offers great restaurants to and world class shopping, ground-breaking architecture and amazing nightlife. I should know I have seen most of Manchester and been to lots of great places here. You can choose from a variety of hotels in Manchester with Superbreak and enjoy art at the Lowry centre, Manchester Art Gallery and its great to explore city life at Urbis or watch a play at The Palace Theatre or concerts at the MEN and Lowry Theatre, great city Manchester, but I would say that wouldn't I?

Dinner dates and overnights - what fun!

I love seeing clients for a romantic dinner date and over night some of my clients have taken me to some wonderful hotels and restaurants, especially in the UK and Italy, one of my favourite places to visit. Food, wine and fun!

The month of May so far - what with swine flu the recession the labour party and the rain today and not forgetting Bob Dylan rewrote the record books yesterday to become the oldest musician to have a No 1 album, nearly 40 years after he last topped the charts, that's my Mum upset now and feeling older! Madonna adopting another baby and the childs parent still wanting the baby!

It's not looking good in the news so far this year, but I am sure like everything in life it does not last for ever, Madonna headlines (apart from Bob and my Mum getting older that is) that won't change! We are all aging but great news for Bob hey! I like some of his music thanks to my Mum. ife’s not easy sometime you just have to have a positive mental attitude it keeps you young and you need to keep things in perspective. I have been away for a few days this month, but looking forward to the summer and seeing all my favourite friends, you know who you are? Just got back from a short trip to Edinburgh and had a great time! I have also just been to see the Ten Drawings by Leonardo da Vinci from the Royal Collection and its on from Saturday 14 February 2009 - Monday 4 May 2009 Manchester Art Gallery FREE!

This exhibition celebrates the 60th birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales. It's a rare chance to see ten of the Royal Collection's finest drawings by the Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci (1452 - 1519).

I loved it and why not have a look yourself if you can while your in Manchester, seeing drawing of such a wonderful historical genius so close you could touch them makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up so if you like to visit the Gallery, I would recommend it to everyone! Hope you got through April 1st everyone with not too may pranks!

At last the bad weather is leaving, well I hope it is.

January and February are quite depressing months for everyone and especially after Christmas and New Year, but the daffodils are rising, which always makes me smile.

Hope you all had a nice Valentines Day? I know I did! Stayed at home with a good book and also watch TV, with a nice glass of champagne, lovely, lying on my fabulous large bed and TV in my bedroom at home, us girls love our bedrooms, well us humans all do a lot of nice things there, generally! The goal is to massage the lingham, also including the testicles, perineum, and the sacred spot (the equivalent of the female G-spot), and allow the man to surrender to a form of pleasure he may not be used to. From this perspective, both receiver and giver relax into the massage.

Men need to learn how to RELAX AND RECEIVE. Traditional sexual conditioning has the man in a doing and goal orientated mode. The lingham massage allows the man to experience his softer, more receptive side and experience pleasure from a non-traditional perspective.

Preparation:

Take a relaxing bath or shower if possible beforehand. Take your time and breathe deeply. Conscious, relaxed breathing will take you out of your mental process and will get you more into your feelings. Relax your belly and let go of the tension that most of us hold there. Go to the bathroom before beginning the massage. The best results occur when the bowels and bladder are empty. Let go of your thoughts and connect with the person doing the massage, make the session a place of relaxation and trust.

Procedure:

Have the receiver lie on his back with pillows under his head so he can look up at the masseur. Spread his legs apart with the knees slightly bent, and the genitals clearly exposed for the massage. Before contacting the body, begin with deep, relaxed breathing. Gently massage the legs, the abdomen, thighs, chest, nipples, etc, to get the receiver to relax. Remind the receiver to breathe deeply and to sink deeper into relaxation…

Sincere apologies for not doing my blog this year, "She's a naughty girl". You say, well correct, but shall we say neglectful only with the written word so apologies again everyone!

Today I thought I would discuss older men and a little about my trip with an older client last year and really my feelings towards the older gentleman in my life! Boy O' Boy!

My experience of older men is just wonderful to be honest. I am not saying that younger men have anything wrong with them, but I do find that men just get better and better with age and behave just as naughtily as young men and still have the same energy!

I always thought when I started this interesting career that my role would involve more younger men. How wrong was I and I'm please to say that most of the gentleman I see, seem to prefer a more experienced woman over 30… I seem to have such wonderful times with older men.

I spent a great weekend at this great hotel, SorrentoItalyhttp://www.slh.com/italy/sorrento/llaita.html just outside Naples with a true gentleman, who shall remain nameless, and lets just say they really need stronger beds in that wonderful hotel. What a time we had! The older man is one of my favourite delicacies, but I will leave the details to your imagination…

Well, what senses five senses for?

“From the day we are conceived until the day we die, we have amazing sensory organs working for us. They allow us to enjoy wonderful foods, hear remarkable sounds, and see the beauty of life around us, feel our environment and smell enticing scents that change our attitude. Our senses also alert us to strange situations. Our senses do not only offer the gift of pleasure, but protect us as well.

Each of these five senses all work together to make a picture of our surroundings - and help us decide what to do next. They can alert us not to take a bite of that terrible dish sitting on our dinner plate, or make us want to jump in the cool, blue, pristine waters before our eyes.

It can be easy to take them for granted in most situations since we have become so used to having them around but, take one away and we have to learn how to get by in the world without them. Not an easy task when you are used to relying on your senses to do the work for you.

So, rather than acting blasé about our sensory organs - we should pay attention to the wonderment of each sense. They really do their job, and without them we would be like Picasso without a canvas, Pavarotti without a voice or Emeril without a stove.”

Life would be very dull without them don't you think!

The five senses and sex.

Just as our five senses help create our mood in every day life, they also play a key role in our intimate relationships. While everyone has a different “turn on” rigger, all of us use one or more of our sensory organs to reach the point of desire.

Sight. Does the sight of your man’s shoulders make you shudder with joy? Men, if you see your wife or girlfriend or friend in cut off shorts while she bends over or moving to and fro cleaning the house, do you get a tantalising feeling in the pit of your stomach? Probably so. From the time you meet a person, you are utilising your sight to figure out if you are attracted to him/her. As said before, we all have different opinions about what is attractive or not, as well as different body parts that we enjoy. Both women and men love looking at the eyes, mouth, chest, shoulders, derrières and legs of those who catch their eyes. Other attractive qualities include smiles, the way a person’s hair falls in his/her face, the curves of each person’s body and the symmetry of their face. Whatever sight you enjoy most from the opposite (or same) sex, is your prerogative, but when picking a mate, physical features do matter.

Sound. The giggling of a woman, the deep, whiskey voice of a man, the humming of a housewife - all of these sounds can make a heart race and a body wants to experience more. Sound is a very important sense, especially when dealing with intimacy. Men and women have their own sounds - whispering sweet nothings, talking uthoritatively, laughing with pleasure, moaning - and those sounds are a cue for the other person to know that they are providing pleasure (or not). Knowing this causes the pleasure provider to also receive pleasure - a win-win situation for both parties involved.

Smell. The scent of good cologne can go a long way. Or, that perfume she wore when you first started dating can rev the engine a little faster. Some even like the smell of a man or woman who has been working outside all day - musky and sweat-drenched. The smell of another human can be intoxicating, and God intended for us to enjoy the scent of one another - women’s pheromones are actually a cue for procreation. We have different smells on different days, depending on what we are doing and, for women, where we are in our cycle. This alone can be enough to crave intimacy; but pair it with sight, sound, touch and/or taste, and there may be a quick departure to the bedroom.

Touch. Touch is one of the most exciting senses we have. Feeling the softness of one’s skin, touching the firmness of shoulder blades or a back, feeling the curvy, solid area of a hip bone - all a mesmerising motion one can’t get enough of. And to be touched - our skin has thousands of nerve endings that beg to be touched, tickled and massaged. While our hands do most of the touching, other body parts can take their place too. Our bodies have several erogenous zones that savour every swipe of a finger, kiss of a mouth or tickle from the hair on your lover’s head. Touch allows you to give and receive pleasure all at once.

Taste. We all have different tastes, literally and figuratively. But, we aren’t talking about clothes or home décor - we are talking about sweet, salt, bitter and sour (the fifth recognised taste, umami, is primarily the taste of different amino acids, which is not present when regarding taste in a sexual manner). Our ability to taste allows us to protect ourselves from poison, as well as delight in delicacies put before us. Taste also relies on smell - without smell, taste just isn’t the same (try holding your nose and telling the different taste between various foods and beverages - not the same, is it?). And just as we all have different smells at different times, our body also tastes different depending on the time of day, our activities and its unique chemical make up. Running your tongue down the neck of your lover may taste salty-sweet, while doing the same thing in the inner thigh may produce a completely different taste. It’s all about your lover’s body, and your tastebuds - something to relish in time and time again.

Hence food and all the senses do it for me, including beautiful atmosphere, playful pleasures and a wonderful male or female (or 2 girl evening with a friend and fun) dinner partners (or party) and our overnights together are even better!
